Julie Chen Moonves is the host of Big Brother's 22nd season which premiered on CBS August 5, 2018. Chen Moonves served as moderator, and was one of the original hosts on The Talk. She won the Daytime Emmy Award for her work. In the year she began writing that her real passion emerged. She also won an Emmy for her role as host of an exceptional entertainment talk show. From 2002 to 2010 Chen Moonves was the co-host for CBS News' morning weekday broadcast The Early Show. Her previous roles included anchoring the CBS Morning News and The Early Show. After 9/11 She was taken to Cairo and located the main hijacker's father to give him an shocking interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. He also interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Before joining The Early Show he was the CBS own station journalist at New York City, WCBS. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter for ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news channel (1992-1995) and a desk-assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) as well as finishing her last year of university at the University of Southern California. She was a desk attendant for ABC News' Nightline program featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is one of her journalists heroes. Chen Moonves, who won Columbia du-Pont for the primetime Anatomy of a Riot special which explored the 1992 Los Angeles riots, worked with Koppel.
